1,230 butterflies have just fluttered into Easingwold. They all arrived safely, they look beautiful and are now waiting to be decorated. Unfortunately, due to the COVID lockdown, the project will be delayed and we are now looking at a summer installation.
The original plan was to ask people to pick their butterflies up from the library and then return them after decoration. Because the library is closed for the time being we are looking at the alternative of picking up and returning butterflies at a safe location in Easingwold so that people can decorate them during the current lockdown.
If this proves possible we’ll provide further advice. Otherwise we’ll have to await the easing of restrictions and then invite people to pick up their butterflies from the library when we re-open.
Thank you for your patience
