The community library will re-open on Monday 12th April.
From that date our opening times will be:
Monday 10.00am -12 noon. 2.30pm – 5.00pm.
Tuesday 10.00am -12 noon.
Friday 10.00am – 12 noon. 2.30pm – 5.00pm.
Saturday 10.00am -12 noon.
The Covid-safe arrangements we had in place before lockdown will resume – facemasks, hand sanitising, a one-way system, book quarantining etc. You’ll find full details here and our friendly volunteers will be on hand to guide you.
All existing loans have been automatically extended until 30th April so there will be no fines to pay when you return the items you’ve so patiently hung onto since Christmas.
During lockdown new stock has continued to arrive weekly and as a result we now have an excellent range of new fiction and non-fiction titles, audio books and large print editions for adults and children. Why not drop by after 12th April and have a browse?
If you’ve joined the library online during lockdown please call in to the library from 12th April to collect your membership card.
Our social groups – Knit and Natter, Poppets, Writing for Fun, Family History, Rhymetime and Poppets – will resume in due course when all restrictions are lifted and we can re-arrange the space in the library to suit.
