New Year Poppets & Rhymetime

Poppets is our very popular weekly session for pre-school children and has restarted for the New Year on Wednesdays from 10.00am to 11.30am.

Children aged 18 months to 3 years along with their parents/carers can enjoy playing, crafting, socialising with other children and adults and getting to know the library and its range of books.

No booking is needed and pushchairs can be brought inside.  We ask for a donation of £3.00 per child or £5.00 for two children.

Rhymetime has resumed on Fridays from 2.00pm to 2.45pm. This lively and fun singing and rhyming session is suitable for babies and pre school children. All are welcome and no booking is needed. Pushchairs can be brought indoors. We ask for a £2.00 donation per child.

All money raised through Poppets and Rhymetime helps to keep the community library open to be enjoyed by the whole community.

Library books can be returned during Poppets and Rhymetime and new books can taken out. If your child isn’t a library member that’s no problem – joining is free and only takes a couple of minutes. We also offer Buzzy Bee’s Honey Hunt, an incentive scheme for very young readers.
