History sleuths on the case!

This Autumn, turn detective to discover the history of your family and interesting facts and stories about the place where you live.

As part of Libraries Week with its theme ‘never stop learning’ we’re offering two FREE sessions led by an experienced adult education tutor. The first is a drop-in (no booking needed) on Monday 3rd October running from 10am until Noon. If you’ve always wanted to research your family history but not known how to get started or you’ve started and got stuck, this could be just the thing for you.

The second session, ‘Hands on History’, will show you how to piece together a picture of times past using websites and books. It’s on Thursday 6th October from 3.45pm to 4.45pm. Places are limited so you’ll need to book by dropping into the library, ringing us on 01609 534584 or dropping us an email at ecl.generalenquiries@gmail.com.
