The latest art mini-exhibition is running at the community library – a mixed media art project inspired by the work of artists Henri Matisse and Elaine Hughes.
The artists are all local, very young and very talented. Stand proudly by your easels pupils in Years 1 and 2 at our own Easingwold Community Primary School.
As part of this project, the children have been learning about Easingwold, and looking closely at the local architecture. They created sketches and experimented with a range of drawing techniques and media. This included the use of collage work and layering to give depth and perspective to their pictures. The resulting mixed media collages of Easingwold show the children’s wonderful artistic talent.
The exhibition runs until June.
