Covid-19: Information for Library Visitors

visiting the library

The library is now operating normally. You’ll enter and leave the library via the usual main entrance. Please use the self-service kiosks to return any items.

We have a simple track and trace system in place. If you wish, please record your name and phone number on the sheet provided. Or use the NHS Covid-19 app on your phone to scan the displayed QR code.

We ask please that you sanitise your hands and choose to wear a mask.

There’s no one-way system in the library but please respect other people’s space.

Use the self-service kiosk by the staff desks to check-out any items you wish to borrow. We can also issue items from the staff desk if it’s busy.

We’re very sorry that there are no newspapers at present.

PLease help to keep you and our volunteers safe

  • If you have Covid symptoms don’t visit the library
  • Choose to wear a face covering while you’re in the library.
  • Sanitise your hands.
  • Respect other people’s space and their choices.

There may be occasions when we are unable to open on particular days because of a lack of volunteer staff. We apologise in advance for any inconvenience this might cause.
