We can offer a variety of roles and opportunities and we’re a very friendly bunch with one thing in common – we all love the library.
By registering your interest in helping you’re not committing yourself to anything. We’ll send you more information so that you’ll be able to make a good, informed choice about taking things further.
Once you’ve decided that you’d like to become a library volunteer we’ll provide any training that you’ll need. This is usually delivered in Easingwold. Some will be via simple online learning modules that you can complete at home.
Once you’re trained you’ll be able to choose library shifts – each of two and a half hours – that suit you and fit in with your other interests and commitments . You’ll be supported by experienced volunteers as you learn the ropes and you’ll usually work with at least two other volunteers.
