Remember Under Five’s Week at the library? Forget it. This year we’re back with the spectacular and very slightly terrifying UNDER FIVES FORTNIGHT!
For 2026 we’re offering two weeks of fun FREE activities in the library specially for pre-schoolies accompanied by a parent or carer. The line-up is:
Come and Meet Stick Man! – Tuesday 14th April. 2.00pm to 3.00pm. Join us in a fun, arty-crafty and ever so slightly twiggy adventure. Booking is needed.
Rhymetime Special – Friday 17th April. 10.00am to 11.00am. Bags of energy, loudest voices and waviest hands and arms please for songs, rhymes and actions. Booking is needed.
Three Billy Goats Gruff – Monday 20th April. 2.00pm to 3.00pm. Go trip-trapping over the bridge for stories, singing and crafts with a fun goaty vibe. And we’ve even given the troll the afternoon off! Booking is needed.
Storytime – Thursdays. 10.15am to 11.00am. Come and enjoy our regular story readings for tinies brought to you by our wonderful volunteer readers. No booking needed – just rock up!
Phonics with Robot Reg. Monday 13th April and Friday 24th April. Various sessions for Under 3s and Pre-school 3-4s.. See the poster or our website for details. High energy, fun and interactive sessions full of singing, dancing and role-play. Booking is needed.

Please drop by the library or call us on 01609 534584. All bookable events will accept walk-ups on the day if there are still spaces, though we do recommend that you book to avoid disappointment.
