We’re a very friendly bunch with one thing in common – we all love keeping a public library in Easingwold.
If you tell us you’re interested in helping as a volunteer we’ll send you more information. You’ll then be able to decide whether you want to take things further.
The next step is some training. This usually happens in Easingwold and some will be online learning that you can complete at home.
You’ll then be able to work library shifts that suit you and fit in with your other interests and commitments. You’ll be supported by experienced volunteers as you learn the ropes. You’ll be working with at least one other volunteer and a shift usually lasts three hours. You can work as few or as many shifts as you wish. Volunteers also run our Home Library Service for our housebound customers.
If you’re over 18 and interested in finding out more please call into the library or email email@example.com. You can also contact us using the message form below.
