On the evening of Wednesday 11th December Easingwold Community Library joined other libraries across North Yorkshire and the country in shining a light as a symbol of solidarity and a celebration of the essential role that libraries play in the cultural fabric of our cities, towns and villages.
Libraries are open to all, don’t discriminate in offering a sense of belonging and should be treasured for all that they bring to the life of the communities they serve.
